Getting tested for HIV can feel daunting. Fear, stigma, and uncertainty often hold people back from taking that first step toward peace of mind. But what if testing didn’t have to be intimidating? What if it felt safe, welcoming, and full of hope… like being part of a community?
That’s exactly what Minority AIDS Support Services (MASS) is making happen across Hampton Roads. Our events make HIV testing accessible, judgment-free, and rooted in care. From neighborhood pop-ups to community celebrations, we’re turning awareness into real connections and fear into confidence.
Why This Matters
HIV testing is more than a health check. It’s a step toward empowerment. Every person who gets tested is taking control of their health, breaking stigma, and helping build a stronger, informed community. Therefore, testing should feel approachable, supported, and even celebratory to everyone.

This year, the energy will be even bigger. From the moment you arrive, you’ll find people laughing, talking, and supporting each other. Together, we’ll honor lives affected by HIV, celebrate progress, and expand access to care.
Be Part of the Community
