If we were asked to describe 2025 in one phrase, it would be this: staying present.
At MASS, our work has never been about checking boxes or hosting events just to say we did. We’re all about showing up compassionately and without judgment for people who need access to care. And this year, we showed up over and over again.
Where the Work Happened
We showed up in neighborhoods, classrooms, clinics, correctional facilities, and community spaces across the region. We showed up when conversations were hard. We showed up when access to care felt out of reach. And we showed up consistently, because that is what our community deserves.
This year, MASS held over 244 events across communities, universities, public spaces, local jails, Departments of Corrections, and during night testing outreach. Each one created space for education, trust, and connection.
More than 3,400 clients were tested for HIV in 2025. For many, that test came with answers, reassurance, and a pathway forward. Alongside testing, over 50,000 condoms were distributed, supporting prevention, education, and safer choices.
Inside our clinic, 352 clients received STI treatment, and 180 clients continued PrEP services, giving people the tools to take control of their health with confidence.
Support Did Not Stop at Clinical Care.
283 clients received case management services, helping them stay connected to care and resources. Over 300 clients received transportation assistance, reducing barriers that too often prevent follow through. 396 clients were supported with food vouchers, because stability and health go hand in hand.
We also invested in early education through initiatives like our Adopt a School campaign, reaching young people with prevention focused education and resources that help shape healthier futures.
These numbers represent real people with real problems.
People who asked questions. People who returned for care. People who trusted us to meet them where they were, without judgment.
This work happens because of community. Because of supporters who believe that access to care should be consistent, compassionate, and human.
Looking Ahead
As we look ahead and readily anticiapate the new year, MASS remains committed to expanding access, strengthening support systems, and continuing to show up where we are needed. But we can’t do it with you.
If you believe in our vision, we invite you to support it.
Happy Holidays! We look forward to celebrating more milestones with you in the new year!
With gratitude,
The MASS Team
